Welcome to the Department of Student Leadership and Service (SLS) at Kennesaw State University

The Department of Leadership and Service (SLS) believes everyone has the capacity to lead.  Leadership is not about position, it is about moments and what we do in those moments.  Leadership is how we use and apply our knowledge, skills, experiences, and identities, to positively affect the lived experiences of ourselves AND others.  Through a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular programs SLS expands learning beyond the classroom, enhancing students’ ability to be successful in their personal, academic, and professional endeavors. Students participating in SLS programs and activities develop their personal capacity to serve others and engage with real world problems.
