Volunteer Ambassadors

The Volunteer Ambassador Street Team is a team of dedicated, passionate students that wish to increase volunteer engagement across Kennesaw State University through event planning, promotion, and participation. Ambassadors are the volunteer force of Kennesaw State and as such support the many service events that occur annually at the institution and beyond.

Requirements for the Street Team:

  • Attend bi-weekly meetings
  • Participate in tabling or event promotion efforts once a month
  • Attend and support service events
  • 3 required each semester
  • Attend at minimum one VA social event each semester
  • Abide by Community Standards established by the Team

Service events include but are not limited to:

  • Service Saturdays
  • Homecoming Service Projects
  • Day of Giving
  • Homelessness Awareness Week
    • Clyde’s Kitchen
    • Sleepout Challenge
  • Holiday Giving Tree
  • MLK Day of Impact and MLK Summit
  • Day of Service
